HIS STORY
When Voma Decided Not to Give Up
Voma Ekeme Ngwendosn is a forester from Cameroon whose journey to India began with a difficult health challenge.
He had been experiencing problems affecting his pharynx, including an unusual discharge from his nose and continuous headaches. Following medical evaluation, he was diagnosed with a tumour.
For Voma and his family, this was a difficult moment.
But Voma made a decision:
He would fight.
He wanted to get better — not only for himself, but also for his family.

Voma discovered GeoClynic’s services in Cameroon and reached out for assistance with his medical journey to India.

His Treatment Journey
Chemotherapy & Radiation Therapy
Voma underwent chemotherapy and radiation therapy as part of his treatment in India.

Throughout his treatment journey, Voma remained determined.
There were difficult moments, but he continued forward with the support of his family and the people around him.
For GeoClynic, the journey was about more than arranging appointments and travel.
It was about being present for a patient and family navigating an unfamiliar healthcare system and environment far from home.
More Than a Medical Journey
A Family's Strength
Behind every patient is a family.
Voma’s family remained an important part of his journey throughout treatment.
Their support, encouragement and appreciation meant a great deal to the GeoClynic team.
At the end of the treatment journey, the family’s appreciation and continued support were deeply meaningful to GeoClynic.
We remain grateful to Voma and his family for trusting us during such an important chapter of their lives.
Voma's Message: Never Give Up
Voma’s story did not end with his treatment.
He chose to share his experience to encourage other people facing similar struggles.
Through his “Never Give Up with Voma Ekema” story, he encourages others to remain strong, keep faith and continue fighting through difficult moments.
Never give up. Stay strong, keep faith, and keep moving forward.
His journey is a reminder that difficult circumstances do not have to define the end of someone’s story.
Life After Treatment

Voma returned to his life with a renewed perspective and a desire to encourage others.
For GeoClynic, his journey represents something important:
Medical travel is not simply about getting a patient from one country to another.
It is about helping people and their families navigate one of the most important journeys of their lives.
